Prince Charles tests positive for coronavirus

Prince Charles, the British throne's 71-year-old successor, has screened the coronavirus positively
and is self-isolating with "mild symptoms," reported Wednesday his Clarence House office.

The wife of the Prince of Wales, Camilla, 72, Cornwall's Duchess, has been screened negative for COVID-19. The two in their house, Burnham, on Scotland's Balmoral Estate, are self-isolating.

A royal source told Reuters Monday the prince was tested and Tuesday's results were obtained. According to Reuters, Charles ' mother, Queen Elizabeth II, 93, remains outside London with her husband, Prince Philip, 98, at her home in Windsor Castle. Since March 19, they've been at the castle.

Nine days before Albert revealed that he had contracted the virus, he met Prince Albert, the head of state of Monaco, the Telegraph reported. They met March 10 at a London-based WaterAid event where Charles gave a speech.
